What is the best way to clean my shower screen once it has been treated?
A mild detergent with a sponge works well. A micro fibre mitt/cloth with water works just as well and saves you money on cleaners. You can buy these in the cleaning isle of your supermarket.

How often should I clean the shower screen?
A quick clean is recommended every couple of weeks to keep the surface clean.

Will the coating crack, peel or discolour over time?
No the coating is only 2 molecules thick and is invisible. There is nothing that will crack or discolour over time. It is unlike a lacquer or varnish.

Will coating gradually wash off with each use?
No the product is permanent. It is unlike some products that are silicone based and wear off over a period of time.

How much area will each kit cover?
EnduroShield™ for glass will cover approximately 8 square meters which is equivalent to the inside of 2 average shower screens. The Tiles & Grout Kit will cover approximately 6 square meters. It is important not to try and make it stretch further as an uneven coverage can cause the product to be less effective. Does the coating get attacked by chemicals?
No. The only way to remove the coating is by removing molecules of glass, such as scratching the glass or using a rough, gritty or abrasive cleaner. You can still use your harsh toxic cleaners, but why would you?

Will the surface become patchy if the coating is worn off in any way?
No. The coating is only two molecules thick and transparent, thus it does not change the appearance of the surface. If an abrasive was to be used, it would not be visible that where it was worn away. That area would, however, be harder to clean. The unprotected surface can be easily repaired by cleaning the area and re-spraying with EnduroShield™. The molecules will bond directly to the untreated surface.

Do I need to use the steel wool if I have a new shower screen or tiles?
No, only if you have an existing shower. The steel wool is used to remove the build-up of soap scum, mineral deposits and lime scaling.

Is it worth putting on an old shower screen?
Yes it is. If it is really old, you will not be able to remove all the cloudiness from the screen as it is permanently stained. However EnduroShield™ will prevent it from becoming worse and will make it much easier to keep clean.

How long will the coating last?
Accelerated testing carried out simulated cleaning a shower screen and tiles & grout over a 10 year period. The results revealed that after this time there were minimal or no change to the molecules structure.

Do I need to mask fixtures and fittings when I coat the area?
No, the product is not corrosive and will not harm fixtures and fittings. If the product does come in contact, the fixtures or fitting will become water repellent for a short period of time until the product wears off.

Can the coating be used on exterior glass?
Yes, the coating is UV stable and will not breakdown.

Do I still need to seal the tiles after I apply this product?
No, the coating not only creates an easy to clean surface, but a permanent protective barrier to resist staining.

Can I apply the product over tiles that have already been sealed with a product?
No, the product needs to be applied untreated tiles and grout to bond with the surface.

If I apply to my toilet, can the coating remain underwater?
Yes, it can. The molecules are permanently bonded, and are impervious to water.

Will a toilet brush remove the coating if applied to a toilet?
No. The bristles on a toilet brush are not strong enough to scratch the surface.
